Brook Laxton

As Client Services Coordinator, Brook is one of the first people to welcome new clients to Alternatives in Treatment. She helps with facilitating the admissions process and setting each client up for treatment. Brook works directly with our medical director to ensure each client’s mental and medical needs are met. She also works with the clinical team to ensure each client’s case is clearly communicated and given individual attention. Of all the hats Brook wears at Alternatives, she finds her main purpose is to help each client focus on what is important while they are getting better and improving their life.

Brook has worked in many different fields, ranging from the Air Force to being a flight attendant with United Airlines. However, she is most passionate about helping others and guiding clients on the right path to recovery.

Brook earned her Bachelors of Arts (BA) in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University. She is currently working on her Certified Addiction Professional certification. In the future, she plans on pursuing a Master’s degree to earn her LMHC. She is originally from Green Turtle Cay, Abaco, Bahamas.
