Melanie Juli, MS, MFT
Primary Therapist
Melanie brings her passion for helping people to her role as Primary Therapist here at Alternatives In Treatment. She holds individual, couples, and family sessions, as well as facilitates several groups throughout the week. Melanie is particularly passionate about working with couples and families, as she strongly believes that addiction truly is a family disease and that everyone in the family deserves a chance to heal.

Melanie has been an active volunteer in the South Florida community for many years. She has worked with the American Cancer Society as their Team Development Chair for their annual fundraiser “Relay For Life”, which raises money for individuals struggling with cancer. Melanie also served as the President of Hillel at Florida Atlantic University, where she was awarded the Caring Award for outstanding community service by the FAU Board of Trustees.

Melanie earned her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) from Nova Southeastern University as well as her Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Arts and Humanities from Florida Atlantic University. Melanie is originally from Long Island, New York and relocated to South Florida in 2002.
