September Rodriguez

As Client Services Coordinator at Alternatives in Treatment, September works closely with the clients in conducting intake assessments. She assists with the scheduling of doctor’s appointments and halfway house tours, as well as follow-up appointments upon discharge. When a client has any legal or job-related issues, September assists in writing letters to probation officers or other legal officials. September also meets with clients periodically to discuss their treatment progress or address any issues they may have discovered. She works closely with the therapists at AIT to ensure clear communication of information regarding the clients and their needs.

Previously, September was a Tenant Liaison for the Town Center at Boca Raton where she worked closely with the supervisory staff in the stores, the administration office, the Boca Raton Police Department, the Sheriff’s Department, and other liaisons in the community. She wrote a security newsletter, held seminars, and brought in speakers such as members of the FBI, Sharon Boch, and communication analysis and crime prevention professionals in the community. She completed inspections of the property and worked with the Boca Raton Fire Department in maintaining safety.

September is working toward her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern University, as well as her Certified Addiction Specialist (CAP) certification. She grew up traveling back and forth seasonally between in Agawam, Massachusetts and Boca Raton, Florida. Now, September is happy to have called Florida her permanent home since 2008.
