Stephanie McKinley, LCSW
Clinical Director
As Clinical Director of Alternatives in Treatment, Stephanie McKinley is responsible for the clinical development and direction of our program, as well as the day-to-day operation of the facility. She leads the clinical team in developing and maintaining innovative substance abuse treatment in a respectful and supportive environment. She is passionate and dedicated to guiding and supporting each client on his or her journey of recovery.

Passionate about recovery and helping those with trauma, Stephanie has worked in the field since 2000. Previously, she was the clinical director at a licensed facility treating a wide range of clients with a variety of co-occurring mental health issues seeking recovery from addictive behaviors. Prior to that, she worked in foster care, assisting youth aging out of the foster care system. She supported a very vulnerable population transition from foster placement and group homes to a life of independence.

Stephanie earned her Bachelors of Social Work (BSW) and Masters in Social Work (MSW) Summa Cum Laude from Florida Atlantic University, where she was an active member and secretary of the Phi Alpha Honor Society. She was also a volunteer for the Office for Students with Disabilities, and she is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She was born in Boston and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
