Valerie Lustig
Valerie Lustig, MS
Primary Therapist
Valerie has been working in the mental health field for the last 24 years, beginning her career in Argentina and continuing in Chicago. She served in a variety of settings from community mental health to inpatient facilities. She was also an adjunct professor at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology and at National Louis-University.

Witnessing clients overcome their addictions and redefine themselves anew inspires her commitment to use creative, evidence-based treatment modalities that support and value the whole person – not just the addicted person. As an eclectic therapist, her interventions include elements from DBT, Mindfulness and Existential modalities.
“It is an honor when a client opens their world to you – their vulnerability, their fears and dreams. These are precious and unique moments which allow the therapist to walk that path with a client and reach the shore.”

Valerie has a BA in Psychopedagogy from CAECE University in Buenos Aires, Argentina and a Masters of Science in Counseling from National Louis University in Chicago. She is a member of the ACA and the LPA. She is also a member of the Alpha Delta Omega Human Services Honor Society. Valerie grew up in Argentina, and lived in Chicago for 21 years. She has called Florida home since 2011.
