Committed to Recovery, Alternatives in Addiction Treatment

Recently, our CEO David Michael celebrated an exciting milestone: his twentieth anniversary with Alternatives in Treatment. And all of David’s well-deserved fanfare led to us to discover something special about the rest of our staff. It turns out that, along with a steadfast commitment to the field of addiction treatment and recovery, there’s also plenty of commitment to Alternatives in Treatment itself.

Just take a look at these numbers: Doreen Hunziker (House Manager) has been with us for 22 years; CEO David Michael for 20 years; Maureen Esposito, PhD, (Clinical Director) and Keith Berger (Admissions Coordinator) are one and two months (respectively) away from celebrating 18 years; Iris Cree (Receptionist) has been here for 14 years; house manager Jimmy Cristie (House Manager) for over 10 years; Paul Adams (Public Relations) for over 9 years; and last, but certainly not least, Brianne Messisco, (Office Manager) for over 8 years.

Now that’s impressive.

So Much More than a Treatment Center

You’ve probably heard the old cliché ad nauseam, but we here at Alternatives in Treatment truly do consider ourselves a family. We take part in our ups and downs, in our moments of joy and sadness, and we all look forward to seeing the familiar smiling faces we see when coming to work every morning. We are committed to recovery, committed to Alternatives in Treatment, and committed to each other. In so doing, we hope to pass on our positive thoughts and attitudes to clients and families alike.
